The Victor Osimhen (25) transfer saga looks to have one last twist with the Turkish window still open for the next 11 days. According to a report by Fabrice Hawkins, Galatasaray have entered negotiations with Napoli for the Nigerian international.
Osimhen had looked set to leave Napoli this summer after Al-Ahli Saudi FC and Chelsea FC had spent the majority of the window attempting to secure his signature. However, an agreement between all relevant parties has proven difficult to reach.
The transfer window slammed shut on Chelsea which had been the striker’s preference, while Al-Ahli’s interest appears to have cooled after they secured Brentford FC’s Ivan Toney (28). This left Napoli with a furious striker that has no intention of playing for them
Osimhen still could leave with Galatasaray now entering the fray. The Turkish giants could provide a future home for a striker who has no future in the south of Italy with the striker reportedly open to joining the club on loan.
