According to a report from Foot Mercato, Everton have agreed personal terms with Ghanaian winger Ernset Nuamah (20) as a move from Olympique Lyonnais nears.
Lyon, whilst still trying to secure incomings before the closure of the transfer window on Friday evening, are focused on outgoings. At the start of the summer, OL had targeted €100m in player sales. With just hours remaining in the window, they have not got close to that figure.
As a result, most players in the Lyon squad have been made avaiable, including Nuamah, despite the Ghana international’s impressive form since joining Les Gones. The winger has garnered significant interest from the Premier League with Everton, Nottingham Forest, and Fulham all linked with securing his signature. It is the former that has now seemingly won the race.
Foot Mercato understands that Nuamah has reached an agreement on personal terms with Everton, although certain details must be sorted before his move to Goodison can be completed. A fee of €30m has been touted.
