Borussia Dortmund have confirmed the departure of promising youngster Paris Brunner to AS Monaco.
After four years at Borussia Dortmund, 18-year-old Paris Brunner is heading for the exit door.
On Friday, the Bundesliga side confirmed the sale of the German U17 World Cup winner to AS Monaco.
“We would have liked to tie Paris to Borussia Dortmund for the long term, but unfortunately he didn’t want to follow the path we showed him,” said Dortmund sporting director Sebastian Kehl.
“We would like to thank Paris for his time at BVB and wish him all the best for the future.”
As revealed by AS Monaco, Brunner is heading straight out on loan to Cercle Brugge in Belgium.
Brunner never made his debut for Borussia Dortmund’s senior side.
