Inter seek to defend their league title after having clinched the scudetto last season for the first time in three years, obtaining their long-awaited second star prior to their cross-city rivals Milan in stellar fashion.

In coach Simone Inzaghi’s third season with the Nerrazzurri, the former Lazio coach managed to bore fruit from the Milanese soil and transflate his cup-success within the domestic league, as Inter finished last year’s campaign with a total of 94 points, scoring 89 goals and conceding only 22 goals in 38 games.

With the Beneamata preparing for arguably their longest season yet hence the reformed UEFA Champions League format and the Club World Cup tournament taking place in the summer, Inter have ensured to add reinforcements within their squad throughout the summer market.

As it stands, Simone Inzaghi has enabled Inter to win one league title, two Coppa Italias, three Supercoppa Italiannas, and one Champions League final appearance throughout his three-year reign at the club.

As a result, Inter are eager to obtain glory domestically and to go to distance within Europe this campaign with the immense amount of quality and depth they possess within their squad.
