Intermediaries open to Scott McTominay’s move to Napoli

Several intermediaries are currently open to the possibility of Scott McTominay’s move to Napoli from Manchester United.

While it was recently reported that Napoli have failed in a loan move for McTominay, it was also suggested that the move isn’t dead in the water.

Il Mattino (via CN24) have reported an update about the situation of the Scotsman, revealing that the intermedaries at work in the move are open to the midfielder’s move to Naples.

A meeting has taken place between the intermediaries and Napoli sporting director Giovanni Manna and the trail has been described as a ‘hot’ one, with there still being a possibility that the transfer can go through.

It was suggested previously that United want a hefty fee to sell McTominay but Napoli’s potential sale of Michael Folorunsho could see them earn an amount that can be used to sign the Scottish midfielder, whose future is uncertain.
