Serie A giants Juventus have now reduced the asking price for Federico Chiesa, who has been linked with a host of clubs.
Juve boss Thiago Motta had recently mentioned publicly that the club has excluded Chiesa from the project, as the Italian wasn’t called up to the squad against Brest yesterday.
It does seem as if Chiesa’s future lies away from Juve. Mirko di Natale has, meanwhile, reported that Juve’s valuation for the Italian has now come down to €15 million and it was about €25 million earlier.
This is a boost to potential suitors, who range from Tottenham and Chelsea to Napoli and potentially even Inter. Juve could lose the player on a free transfer next summer and they would want to earn something from the player’s sale instead. It is understandable why they are desperate to move him on and the lower valuation is a sign of that want.
