According to kicker, VfB Stuttgart are interested in signing Atalanta striker El Bilal Touré.
It has previously been reported that the Bundesliga runners-up are looking at other attacking options this summer, having failed to sign Deniz Undav from Brighton thus far.
Despite their best efforts, the Premier League outfit has refused to sell the German international, and there are suggestions that they would demand €50 million to offload him.
Therefore, Stuttgart have been forced to consider other options, and among the players on their shortlist is Touré.
The Mali international has struggled for game time in Italy since joining Atalanta from Almería last summer. A hamstring injury at the start of the campaign saw the 22-year-old miss 27 games for La Dea last season, and from there, he struggled to fight for a place in the starting XI.
Nevertheless, he still played a pivotal role as Gian Piero Gasperini’s side became the only team to beat Bayer Leverkusen last season, an achievement that saw them crowned Europa League champions. In 17 appearances for Atalanta, Touré scored three goals and registered one assist.
