Serie A giants Roma have now finally agreed a fee with Girona for their Ukrainian striker Artem Dovbyk.
Roma had an agreement over personal terms with the striker already, with the player having rejected Atletico Madrid recently. The player’s entourage had arrived in Rome to seal the personal terms and the only agreement left was with Girona.
Gianluca di Marzio has now confirmed that an agreement exists between the two clubs and the move could close tomorrow.
Roma sporting director Florent Ghisolfi had flown to Spain to make sure that the deal closes and he has now succeeded in his attempts to do just that. Only the final details of the move are remaining and they will finalised tomorrow.
The agreement is for €33 million to €34 million plus bonuses and Girona will have a 10 percent resale fee from a future sale. His contract will also be sorted out tomorrow.
