Bayern looking to extend Salihamidzic contract

By Jonathan Dicks

Per SportBild, the Bavarian club want to sign Sporting CEO Hasan Salihamidzic to a new deal through 2026.

It’s been a very busy summer for Hasan Salihamidzic, as he’s completely revamped Bayern’s squad. After becoming the Sporting CEO in 2020, many supporters were left wanting more in his first few transfer windows. However, fans have received everything they’ve wanted and more this summer, as Salihamidzic’s work looks to have pleased the Bayern hierarchy as well.

Technical Director Marco Neppe also deserves his fair share of the limelight, as he and Salihamidzic are working in tandem to get these transfers through the door. Neppe is now even joining the team on the sidelines, while Salihamidzic has moved up to the stands during games.

The signings of Gravenberch, Mazraoui, Mane, de Ligt, and Tel provide Bayern with world-class new talent. Receiving more than €50 million for Lewandowski is yet another reason why the Bayern board want to extend Brazzo through 2026.
