Crystal Palace and Olympique de Marseille have found an agreement over Ismaila Sarr’s (26) transfer on a €15M fee, reports The Athletic.
Only one year after leaving Watford FC, Ismaila Sarr is set to return to the Premier League. The Senegalese international had an underwhelming first season in Ligue 1, logging five goals and six assists in 35 games across all competitions. With Marseille willing to revamp their offensive unit following Roberto de Zerbi’s arrival, Ismaila Sarr was pushed towards the exit and was keen on returning to the Premier League. While the talented winger gathered lots of interest, Crystal Palace convinced Sarr, who recently agreed to join the Eagles on a four-year deal.
Sarr’s return to the Premier League is now set to be completed, according to The Athletic. Marseille have reportedly accepted Crystal Palace’s last proposal worth €15M, an amount that allows the Southern France’s side to realise an unexpected profit on a player that failed to live up to expectations after joining from Watford on a €13M deal last summer.
