There has been a lot of speculation regarding Trent Alexander-Arnold’s future at Liverpool this summer.
The 25-year-old will be out of a contract in June next year and many thought he could decide to leave the club after Jurgen Klopp’s departure.
Real Madrid have been credited with an interest who want to unite the right-back with his England teammate Jude Bellingham.
But in a big blow for Los Blancos, Alexander-Arnold has decided to stay at Liverpool, according to The Sun.
It is said that he has spoken to new manager Arne Slot and is excited about the new era.
The Reds are set to offer him a monstrous new contract to keep him out of the clutches of the La Liga giants.
Alexander-Arnold has been a loyal servant of the Merseyside club since earning his first-team debut in 2016.
His time at Liverpool has seen him making over 300 senior appearances and lifting the Premier League, Champions League and FA Cup trophies.
Last season, the 25-year-old featured in 37 matches across all competitions, making 12 goal contributions.
His performances earned him a spot in Gareth Southgate’s team for Euro 2024, where he played in four games to help England to the final.
Alexander-Arnold started the group matches against Serbia and Denmark but he was dropped in favour of Kobbie Mainoo for the knockout games.
