Danish sporting publication “Tipsbladet” reports that Denmark’s Vejle Boldklub have secured a new loan-out for FC Augsburg fullback David Colina.
Croatian fullback David Colina – loaned out to Denmark in the most recent January transfer window – appears slated to remain up north with Vejle Boldklub for the coming season. The 24-year-old made seven Bundesliga appearances for the Fuggerstädter, and scored one goal, in the second half of the 2022/23 Bundesliga campaign, yet logged no minutes in the first half of the 2023/24 season.
There were some reports that Augsburg were set to sell Colina to LASK Linz this summer. For now, it appears as if he will remain under contract with Augsburg whilst being loaned back to Vejle. The Danish newspaper “Tipsbladet” reports that the Danish side have secured a purchase option in the new loan. Colina made 12 SuperLiga appearances for the Jutland-based side last year.
