According to Florian Plettenberg, Paris Saint-Germain are set to steal Bayern Munich target Désiré Doué.
It has recently been reported that Der Rekordmeister have seen their first bid of €35 million for Doué rejected by Stade Rennes. However, the record champions are not willing to give up in their pursuit of the winger.
Nevertheless, it is now understood that PSG have entered the race to sign Doué. The French champions have submitted a bid worth €40 million with add-ons for the 19-year-old.
Stade Rennes’ view on the transfer saga has failed to change, with the Ligue 1 outfit demanding a fee in the region of €60 million with add-ons.
Regardless, there is a feeling shared by all the parties involved that an offer between €45-€50 million with add-ons should get a potential deal over the line.
As of yet, Doué’s preferred destination is unknown. However, a decision from the winger is expected in the coming days.
