At a press conference on Saturday, Joao Palhinha reacted to the speculation linking him with a move to Bayern Munich.
Fulham and Portugal midfielder Joao Palhinha came close to joining Bayern Munich last summer, but the transfer collapsed on deadline day.
The Portugal international is now once again being heavily linked with a move to the Bavarians, with Bayern and Fulham said to be haggling over a transfer fee.
At a press conference at the Portuguese national team camp on Saturday, the defensive midfielder was asked about his future, and replied:
“Right now I’m focused on the national team, on making history for my country. Regarding my future, what I can say is that both clubs [Fulham and Bayern] know where I want to be in a month’s time. What has to happen will happen,” Palhinha said.
