Real Valladolid’s return to the top-flight of Spanish football will no doubt have been welcomed by those in the boardroom at RCD Mallorca.
This comes with as much having confirmed an impending funds boost for the Bermellones.
Amath Ndiaye secured a January departure from Son Moix, when he linked up with the aforementioned Real Valladolid for the 2nd half of the term.
The 27-year-old went on to impress across limited minutes, notching five goals and two assists in nine appearances before being struck down by injury.
And those of a Real persuasion look set to be afforded plenty more opportunities to see Ndiaye add to this tally back in La Liga.
This comes amid confirmation on the part of Marca that the Pucelanos’ promotion, made official over the weekend, triggered an automatic purchase clause in the attacker’s loan deal.
Mallorca will in turn secure for themselves a fee with the potential to rise to €2.5 million, a welcome boost on the financial front heading into the summer transfer window.
