In the past week, West Ham and Borussia Dortmund have opened talks with the agents of Stuttgart’s 28-year-old Guinean striker, Serhou Guirassy.
The Bundesliga club has already verbally offered the player a contract until 2028 according to CaughtOffside sources with knowledge of the deal.
With a sensational 28 goals in 28 Bundesliga games last season, per WhoScored, it’s no wonder that the player is in demand.
West Ham targeting Serhou Guirassy
However, he wants to see what other offers come his way before making a decision one way or the other.
They could come from the likes of Bayern Munich, Manchester United, Arsenal, Newcastle United, AC Milan and Atletico Madrid, who have all previously shown an interest in the hit-man.
Guirassy thinks he can get a better salary offer from Premier League clubs, though Stuttgart may well try to steer him towards Dortmund.
That’s because BVB will listen to future offers for Sebastien Haller and Youssoufa Moukoko, in order that they can prioritise the transfer of Guirassy.
