After agreeing to take over Everton, The Friedkin Group are now in the eye of securing a new CEO for Roma.
According to a report by La Gazzetta dello Sport via Roma News, The Friedkins are focusing on appointing a new Roma CEO after Lina Souloukou resigned from the role recently. The club thanked Souloukou with an official statement but immediately engaged themselves to fill up the vacancy soon.
The first candidate on the list is Umberto Gandini, who is the former chairperson of Roma. Giampaolo Montali is also in the running as he previously played the role of an executive during the Sensi presidency era.
The Friedkins also take into consideration the likes of Zvonimir Boban and Zbigniew Boniek, a former Giallorossi striker.
A return of Rosella Sensi to the club is going around the Roma headquarters but that seems like an unlikely option for now.
