Incoming Barcelona signing Marcus Rashford will be afforded a place in the club’s travelling squad bound for Asia for their upcoming pre-season tour.
That’s according to Mundo Deportivo, who have provided an insight into the situation.
It is of course now common knowledge across world football that frontman Rashford is all set to take his talents to Catalunya’s capital for next season.
Following a lightning round of negotiations with Manchester United, Barcelona have tied up an agreement to bring the Englishman in on a one-year loan.
So, what next for Rashford and the Blaugrana?
The understanding is that the versatile attacker has been scheduled for a flight to Barcelona later this evening.
From here, Rashford will undergo a round of medical tests, before signing his contract and immediately joining training with Hansi Flick’s squad.
As per a report from MD, the plan is therefore for the 27-year-old to be on the plane to Asia for Barca’s pre-season tour next week.
