Turkish side Galatasaray are now set to sign Napoli’s Victor Osimhen on a loan deal and the details of the move are rather curious.
None of Chelsea, Paris Saint-Germain or Al-Ahli managed to sign Osimhen in the market, leaving the Nigerian scrambling for options regarding his future.
Gianluca di Marzio has now confirmed that the player will join Gala on loan and there is now a full agreement in every way needed. The clubs have an agreement to send the player out on a dry loan till the end of the season, with Osimhen to undergo his Gala medical tomorrow.
The Turkish side will pay Osimhen’s entire salary during the loan deal and Napoli have added an automatic renewal option in the deal and they will exercise it next summer, if the player isn’t sold by June 2025. The extension will keep Osimhen at the club till 2027 and will have a clause of €80 million and the same salary.
Osimhen also wanted a loan termination clause in his deal for January and that has been added, as he would want to move to other clubs if they do come calling for him
