Barcelona star Robert Lewandowski has on Monday provided an insight into his personal target for the season ahead.
Frontman Lewandowski, for his part, is of course fresh off a stellar opening to the campaign.
Amid Barcelona’s run of four wins from four in La Liga, the club’s star striker has found the net on four occasions, to take an early lead in the race for the Pichichi.
And, if the latest comments on the part of the former Bayern Munich man are anything to go by, then Lewandowski has no plan to slow down any time soon.
Speaking in a press conference after linking up with the Polish national team on Monday, ‘Lewa’ was asked how many goals he would ideally like to score this season.
And the 36-year-old was not shy in confirming his lofty hopes, explaining:
“I want to score more goals than last season. At least 30 goals, maybe even 35!”
