Barcelona star Marc Bernal has been left less than pleased by the selection calls of manager Hansi Flick across the season to date.
This comes amid the youngster’s ongoing struggles for playing time.
Bernal has for his part taken to the pitch on just five occasions across the season to date, for a little over 30 minutes of action.
As much comes amid efforts on the part of the Barcelona coaching staff to ease the 18-year-old back in, following a year on the sidelines with an ACL injury.
Bernal, however, is beginning to become frustrated with just how gradual his reintroduction has been.
Not only that, but, according to Marca, the midfield starlet has been left ‘hurt’ by teammates being played out of position in the middle of the park ahead of him:
‘It hurts him to see that in some matches players like Eric García or Christensen have played in his position before him.’
Bernal, as a result, has made clear his desire for an uptick in minutes on the far side of the international break.
